Hardware maker Rabbit is taking a giant leap forward in human-machine interaction with its partnership with ElevenLabs. This collaboration will bring realistic, responsive AI voices to the highly anticipated Rabbit r1, a pocket-sized AI device that wowed audiences at CES. The first batch of r1s is set to ship next month.

AI Voices: The Next Level of User Interaction

The Rabbit r1's integration of ElevenLabs' technology will transform how users interact with the device. Instead of just issuing simple commands, users will be able to engage in natural conversations with the r1. ElevenLabs specializes in low-latency AI models, ensuring the device's responses are quick, fluid, and feel almost like talking to another person.

The partnership with ElevenLabs builds on Rabbit's previously announced integration of Perplexity AI. This means users will have a powerful knowledge base at their fingertips, with the r1 able to answer complex questions and provide detailed summaries.

The first batch of r1 devices, priced at $199, will ship on March 31st. Rabbit promises exciting out-of-the-box features, from engaging with chatbots and ordering food to real-time translation and music streaming. With nearly 100,000 pre-orders already, the r1 is shaping up to be a game-changer in the personal AI device market.
